ABSTRACT:
The paper deals with the current trends in knowledge – intensive businesses with regard to introduction of innovation. It presents the findings of a survey in Slovak companies covering organizational innovation as well as reasons and barriers to the introduction of innovation, knowledge importance, categories of knowledge required and sources of knowledge in the identified economy sectors.
