Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of Emotional Intelligence (EI) on Job Satisfaction (JS) moderated by the Organizational Learning Capability (OLC). The study was conducted among academicians in four private Higher Education Institutions in Egypt (HEIs). It was found that there is a significant and positive relation between OLC and JS. Furthermore, the relationship between EI and JS was only found as positive but not significant. It has been concluded that OLC is having a positive effect on moderating the relationship between EI and JS. The most important implication is that JS is affected by the individual EI.
